At Heavenly Dog, our mission is to provide our friends and neighbors with good service and great food.
We serve EVERGOOD Brand Hot Dogs in your choice of Beef, Polish, or Hot Link, or Turkey. We offer Specialty Dogs, such as, the Muddy Dog (Chili dog), The Chicago Dog (which we are told is the best Chicago Dog on the West Coast!), and the Mutt Dog, which is served plain, so you can put any of our homemade relishes and fancy mustards on it, if you like.)
Many of our recipes have been handed down from generation to generation. Our Grandma Eleanore Strong's potato and macaroni salad recipes are being used. Some long-time Elk Grove residents may recognize these recipes as being the same ones that were sold at the EG Food Mart's Deli. Our Uncle Jerry Strong has shared his tri tip chili recipe with us, and our corn dog batter is also a guarded family secret! We use only 100% cholesterol and trans-fat free oils in our cooking, and the freshest ingredients we can find.
Please come in, relax, and enjoy our warm and friendly atmosphere. We want you to feel like a part of the family (but you don't have to do dishes like the rest of us!)
